Measurable or M means that you need to be able to see your progress through weighing your self and measuring your self too. Being able to see this progress and keep track of it will help you stay on task and keep moving forward. This is especially true as you see that you are losing weight and inches as well. You will want to measure the different areas of your body prior to starting your fitness plan. Than each day that you work out take these measurements again before beginning and continue doing this and keeping track of the numbers. The same goes for your weight too. Weigh your self on the start day of your fitness plan and then continue to weigh your self daily to see the progress that you have made. You will also be able to see when you need to mix up your routine or do something different as you hit muscle and weight loss plateaus too.
